The School of Health Sciences offers both graduate certificate and master degree programs.
Graduate Certificate Programs
Currently, the Graduate Certificate is offered in the following three areas:
- Healthcare Administration
- Public Health
- Healthcare Informatics
For Graduate Certificate, 5 courses (15 Credits) are required to be completed successfully with a GPA of 3.0 or more. These programs are completely Online where students will be able to register, receive course materials, interact with faculty and fellow students, and complete this certificate program without being on-campus. For students who want to continue towards a master’s degree in their respective field, these certificate courses will be counted towards the master’s degree.
Masters Degree Programs
For Masters Degree, 12 courses (36 credits) are required to be completed successfully with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Masters Degrees in:
- Public Health (MPH)
- Healthcare Informatics (MHI)
- Healthcare Administration (MHA)
The master degree programs in the emerging fields of Public Health, Healthcare Informatics, and Healthcare Administration are aimed to meet the demand and needs of the healthcare sector. These programs will introduce key knowledge and promote professional services in the healthcare industry. The objectives of the programs are to:
- Enable students to continue graduate studies in their respective countries,
- Prepare them for executive positions in public health practice and management, healthcare informatics specialist, and health services management,
- Promote high quality programs at graduate level, and
- Keep students abreast of global developments in their respective field.
